Do you offer a Spanish-speaking answering service?

Sí!  We have bilingual receptionists who speak both English and Spanish, plus a team of Spanish-speaking receptionists who can handle calls to dedicated Spanish-speak phone lines, so we can absolutely answer inbound calls for your business if you have customers who are native Spanish speakers.  Our bilingual service is included with every account at no extra cost.

I can’t recall what email address is associated with my account – how do I login?

Typically the email address used to login to your online client portal will be the same as your AnsweringService.com billing email.  Check which email you receive your monthly invoices on and try entering that. If you’re still unable to login, contact our customer support team at support@answeringservice.com for assistance.

Can we still answer calls in-house, but use AnsweringService.com as a back-up?

Absolutely!  A call overflow service can easily be provided and controlled via your call forwarding settings.  By setting your advertised business number to divert to your AnsweringService.com receptionist number only when the phone rings for a specified duration or if your line is engaged, you can continue to answer most calls yourself but have our receptionist team answer your calls when you can’t.

This is perfect for avoiding missed calls in scenarios such as when you’re in a meeting, you have multiple concurrent inbound calls or your in-house receptionist takes a break, is off sick or is on vacation.

Are there any costs whatsoever with your answering service free trial?

Zilch.  At least in terms of monetary cost!  You aren’t required to provide credit card details and there’s no strings attached.  There is of course a cost in terms of time, but it’s very minimal as our answering service free trial includes instant activation and involves a very simple set-up via our online client portal.  It’s very possible to have our receptionists start answering your business calls within a matter of minutes!

The trial is also obligation-free.  You can cancel at any time if you decide you’d prefer not to continue using our services.

What does the Answer solution include?

Our Answer service (which our 7-day free trial is based around) enables our professional receptionists to answer your phone using your preferred greeting and handle the call just like your own in-house receptionist would, but for a fraction of the cost! This includes:

  • Providing basic information about your business to callers (as per the details you enter via your online client portal)
  • Screening and transferring calls as appropriate (depending on availability settings)
  • Sending messages via email, SMS or both to one or more specified staff members or departments (as per your preferences)

Can I add additional local or toll-free numbers to my answering service?

Certainly.  In addition to the number you choose when activating your answering service, you can add on as many additional business numbers as you wish – whether local numbers or toll-free numbers.  Most of the time phone numbers can be set up for you instantly, pending availability.
